It's getting a bit wearing to hear, "Well, if we don't build it for them then they'll pack their bags and go to some other city! You don't want <b><i>that</i></b> to happen, do you?!?!" Gag me!<br /><br />So we get roped into yet another sales tax increment to pay for the upgrade to Lambeau Field or for the new Miller Park. I consider myself fortunate that Winnebago County is between those two places and wasn't caught up in sales tax fever...though it still may happen with some public transportation subisdy or other. Gad!<br /><br />What must it be like living in one of the 25 states <b><i>without</i></b> a major professional sports franchise?
